The Bridgewater Reds, two days after a 13-7 win over the Broadway Bruins, handed it to Broadway again with a 6-3 win at home. With the win, Bridgewater improved to 14-5, while the Bruins fell to 11-9.

Joe Christopher (3-0) threw six innings with one run and just three hits to get the win, while Bryce Turner (0-1) took the loss, giving up two runs and eight hits.

Bridgewater led 2-1 most of the night, but utilized a four run seventh, including a two run double from Grey Sherfey, to push across insurance runs. The Bruins would score two in the top of the eighth, but left the bases loaded and could do no more.

The Reds will host the Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks on Saturday, July 15 at 7:30 pm. The Bruins will host the Montezuma Braves on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 pm.

After a frustrating end to the first half, the RCBL Shockers kicked off the second with a 10-2 win over the Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks. The Shockers improved to 14-6 with the win, while the Diamondbacks fell to 8-13.

Kirk Messick (7-0) picked up the win, throwing a complete game with six strikeouts. Joe Matheney (0-2) gave up eight runs (six earned) to take the loss.

The Shockers pushed across eight runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, including a three run homer from Kaden Spaid, to seal the deal. Pearce Bucher went 3-4 with two RBIs, singling to lead off the inning and hitting a two run homer later on in the same inning.

The Shockers will be back on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 pm when they host the Clover Hill Bucks. The Diamondbacks will hope to bounce back at home against the Elkton Blue Sox on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 pm.

The Grottoes Cardinals scored eight runs in the first three innings, and the Elkton Blue Sox were unable to adequately respond in a 12-3 road loss. The Cardinals improved to 12-9, while Elkton fell to 0-20.

Adam Dofflemeyer (3-1) threw six innings with seven strikeouts to pick up the win. Brandon Mullins (0-1) gave up six runs in one and two thirds of an inning to take the loss.

Whit Scafidi led the way for the Cardinals, going 3-5 with three RBIs, all in the first two innings. All of the Cardinals starters had at least one hit or RBI.

The Cardinals will return to action on Saturday, July 15 when they host the Broadway Bruins at 7:30 pm. The Blue Sox will be back on Wednesday, July 12 at 7:30 pm when they host the Clover Hill Bucks.

Sam Imeson held the Montezuma Braves to just five hits, and the Clover Hill Bucks opened the second half with an 8-3 home win. The Bucks improved to 12-6, while the Braves fell to 8-11.

Imeson (4-2) pitched seven innings and struck out seven to get the win. Trey Comer (0-1) gave up three runs in the first three innings to take the loss.

The Braves scored five key insurance runs in the fifth, three of which came from a Kevin Navedo home run. The Braves put three back on the board in the sixth, but that would be all they could muster.

The Bucks will be back on Wednesday, July 12 at 7:30 pm when they travel to the Elkton Blue Sox. The Braves will travel to the Broadway Bruins on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 pm.
